UAE fired another Houthi missile in the middle of the President of Israel's President

UAE air defense forces on Monday tapped and destroyed ballistic missiles launched by Houthi Yemeni terrorist groups against him, the State Defense Department said, in the midst of a historic visit by President Israc Herzog Israel.

In a statement for WAM, GCAA said that there was no impact on flights and airports produced from the interception of ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi terrorist militia in the country.

Abu Dhabi and Dubai are important global flight centers in the region.

GCAA also asked the public to refer to official sources for all information and updates.

The missile attack came for hours after President Israel Herzog met with the crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan.

In September 2020, Israel and UAE normalized their relationship in the AS-Broker Agreement with Emirates into the first Gulf State to establish a formal bond with the Jewish state, and the third Arab country who had done it after Egypt and Jordan in 1979 and Jordan in 1979 and Jordan In 1979 and 1994, respectively.

Houthi rebels have been responsible for several drone attacks on Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities in the past.
